Danny gets back to his feet, offering his hand out to her again as he keeps his gaze straightforward, on the path ahead. "No," he says quietly. "She's not here. I haven't seen her in over a year, now. But you'll meet some of the other kids that I help out? When you're ready," he promises. "We won't rush you into anything. We'll get you used to your new home.
